How to redeem a Code or PlayStation Network Card

Online passes, pre-paid PlayStation Network cards, pre-order bonuses, and in-game promotional items are a few of many types of transactions that use codes on the PlayStation Store.

 

PS3: How To Redeem Codes through XMB

  1. On the PS3 system XMB, go to the (PlayStation Network). (Skip this step if you are already logged in.)
  2. Highlight (Account Management) and press the X button.
  3. Highlight [Redeem Codes] and press the X button.
  4. Enter the code printed on the voucher or PlayStation Network Card. The funds or item will be added to your account.

    5. Please not that the code is case sensitive. Be sure to enter the code exactly as it is printed.

  5. Once the voucher is entered, games will appear in the Download List.

 

PS3: How To Redeem Codes through the PS Store

  1. Navigate to the  (PlayStation Network), choose  (PlayStation Store) and press the X button.

    2. After the PlayStation Store loads, you will see "Redeem Codes" at the bottom of the main menu on the left-hand side of the screen.

  2. Navigate to "Redeem Codes" by pressing down on the D-pad of the DUALSHOCK 3 Controller, and then press the X button to show the Redeem Codes field.
  3. Press the X button again to display the on-screen keyboard.
  4. Then, enter the 12 digit code exactly as it is written on the voucher by using the D-pad to select the letter or number followed by the X button to enter it.
  5. Once the code is entered correctly, press the "Start" button on your controller to submit it.

 

PC/MAC: How To Redeem Codes through Sony Entertainment Network (SEN) website

  1. Go to http://www.SonyEntertainmentNetwork.com
  2. Click "Manage Account" and sign in with your Sign-In ID(E-mail Address) and Password.
  3. Click on "Redeem Prepaid Card".
  4. Enter the code printed on the voucher or PlayStation Network Card and click "Continue".
  5. If the code is valid, you will be presented with a description of what the code will deliver to your account. Press the "Redeem..." button to add the item or funds to your account.

 

PS Vita: How To Redeem Codes through the PS Store

  1. Open an account on the PlayStation Network (or use your existing account).
  2. From the PS Vita's Home Screen, tap the  PS Store icon. This will open the PS Store's LiveArea.
  3. Select the  "Redeem Codes" icon from the LiveArea.
  4. Enter the online pass code exactly as displayed.
  5. Once the online pass code has been entered correctly, tap Next.
  6. Once you accept the terms, you will be taken to the download screen.
  7. Once the download is complete, you're all done -- no further action is required. Have fun!

To confirm that the online pass is installed correctly:

  1. From the PS Vita's Home Screen, tap the  PS Store icon. This will open the PS Store's LiveArea.
  2. Tap the Start icon in the center of the PS Store's LiveArea. (It will say "Continue" instead of start if the PS Store is running in the background).
  3. Then, tap the  Options button is the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
  4. Finally, tap the Services List menu option to display a list of services associated with your account.

PSP: How To Redeem Codes through XMB

  1. On the PSP system XMB, go to the  (PlayStation Network) and select  (Account Management).
  2. Highlight [Redeem Codes] and press the X button.
